Match Opportunities

As a key component of the learning process, our technical team arranges for teams to participate in various friendly matches, competitions and tournaments that helps players, at no additional cost to them, put into practice what they have learnt and also learn important lessons not just as football players but also as individuals.

Starting in September 2015, we will take part at Singapore Super League, a competition that takes place every other Sunday and which runs until April 2016. This will be a fantastic opportunity for our relatively advanced players to experience competition at an appropriate level and conducive environment. Please note that participation in the Singapore Super League is limited to players in the U8, U10 and U12 Competition Squads only.

Our Academy will continue to participate in the Community Football League in season 2015/16. In this round-robin tournament, teams play short competitive matches back to back to ensure maximum exposure in a two hour period. The Community Football League is held on the Sundays alternate to the Singapore Super League at the same time slot in the afternoon.

For players that do not participate in above competitive matches, we will continue to schedule more friendly matches and tournaments for them. Also, to maximise the number of players that receive match experience, we will also organise internal tournaments that will rotate among our various training venues, so that players will at the least get match experience during their regular training sessions.

We are confident that our enhanced approach toward match experiences will ensure all our academy players have the match experience that enhances their learning process and gives them a good dose of enjoyment at the same time.
