Goalkeeping is more than just making save. It is one of the most influential leadership roles on the field. As the only player with a full view of the game, a goalkeeper naturally becomes the team's organizer, communicator, and motivator. The ability to scan the entire field provides goalkeepers with the unique responsibility of directing teammates, controlling defensive discipline, and influencing the flow of play.

Unlike any other position, goalkeepers must face inevitable setbacks from conceding goals. From these experiences of learning from setbacks, mental resilience is built.
